Being as I'm one of the slackers in reading and contributing to this blog -- it's probably right to fire off a fond remembrance of Coy on the anniversary of her birthday.
My mother was always a lot more diligent in those matters than I -- without fail, 9 a.m. every August 1 was when we phoned her to wish her a happy birthday. So it's odd being without either of them when this day rolls around -- I feel remiss for not making that call.
Much love to everyone -- and let's please try to all get together again soon!

Great post Wade. I thought of her too today...
My favorite memory with Namie has to be when I was going to BYU for my first semester and spent a weekend with her, ate lunch on her patio right by her tomato plant and read books beside each other late into the night. I don't think there is a moment I've missed more since she's been gone that having that weekend with her. Glad I was able to.
Namie was a great time. Such a fun person to talk to and the greatest listener.
I loved taking a break from Provo and hanging in that condo of hers too.
Sending birthday wishes up to heaven...
